The Phoneme Poster is a classroom wall border display that covers the alternative sounds of Phases 5 and 5.5 in the order of the progression within the Rainbow Phonics program
Each letter is provided with a visual image and a catchy mnemonic to reinforce the letter sound.
Borders are color-coded to Phase levels 5 and 5.5 and letters are color-coded to their phonics category (long vowel, consonant digraph, silent letter etc.)
Examples match the Letter Sounds cards (RP104) and make up part of direct explicit daily instruction within the Rainbow Phonics program.
